About this scholarship
A short-term academic and research exchange program organized by USTC to invite outstanding international students to explore scientific research, attend lectures, engage in laboratory tours, and connect with top faculty members. The camp runs in Hefei from 19 December 2026 to 1 January 2027.
Funding type
Standard Program Fee: The official program fee is 3,000 RMB, which includes tuition, twin-room university accommodation, and official field trips/lab tours. Insurance and travel expenses are not included. USTC Fellowship: Outstanding students may receive a fellowship that can include a travel subsidy, medical insurance, accommodation and a stipend, fully or partially.

Nationality & Health: Must be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid foreign passport, in good physical and mental health. Academic Status: Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program, or be a recent graduate aiming to pursue further studies at USTC. Language Proficiency: Must have a good command of English (no strict TOEFL/IELTS certificate required). Prior Participation: Applicants who have already attended a previous USTC International Winter or Summer Camp are not eligible.
