About this scholarship

A scholarship that lowers the tuition fee for fee-paying students on selected master's programmes at the University of Borås in Sweden that start in autumn 2027. The number of scholarships is limited.

Funding type

Covers: about 75% of the tuition fee. It is deducted from your tuition invoice, and no money is paid to you. The university's regulations say at least 75%, with 10 more percentage points in the second year of a two year programme if you complete 60 credits in the first year. Does not cover: living costs. Most master's programmes ask for English 6, for example IELTS Academic 6.5 with no section below 5.5, or TOEFL iBT 90 with 20 in the written test for tests taken up to 20 January 2026, or 4.5 with no section below 4 for tests from 21 January 2026. First apply for an eligible master's programme on universityadmissions.se between 16 October 2026 and 15 January 2027. Pay the SEK 900 application fee and upload your documents by 1 February 2027. The scholarship form opens on 1 December 2026 on the scholarship page. The page does not give its closing date. The university's regulations say it closes with the documents deadline of the first admission round, which is 1 February 2027. Eligible programmes for autumn 2027: Informatics - Data-driven IT Management (one year), Information Systems: AI Management, Textile Management (one year), Fashion Marketing and Management, Information Science: Digital Environments, five Resource Recovery programmes, Textile Value Chain Management, Textile Engineering (two years) and Technical Textile Innovation (two years). The page says results come shortly after the admission results in March 2027, while University Admissions publishes master's results on 1 April 2027.

Choose one of the eligible master's programmes at Borås. Apply on universityadmissions.se before 15 January 2027, then pay the fee and upload your documents before 1 February 2027.
