President's Scholarship at the American University of Sharjah for Students Schooled Outside the UAE, Fall 2027

Applications open Fully funded?

About this scholarship

A full undergraduate scholarship at the American University of Sharjah for new students who finished secondary school outside the UAE and start in fall 2027. It pays all tuition and lab fees, a monthly stipend, on-campus housing, medical insurance and three return flights. You need an AUS admission offer and very high grades to apply.

Funding type

Covers: 100 percent of tuition and lab fees, a waiver of the application fee, a monthly stipend for the duration of the scholarship, on-campus housing, student medical insurance, and three round-trip tickets during your years of study. The page does not give the amount of the monthly stipend or the number of awards. AUS pages for the Fall 2024 and Fall 2025 rounds said up to 20 scholarships a year. Tuition for 2026/2027 is AED 110,876 a year for all majors. The 2027/2028 fees are not yet published. The scholarship is renewable while you keep meeting its requirements. The page does not give the GPA or credit load needed to renew, and the FAQ says the offer letter sets the terms. AUS funds a bachelor's degree for 8 to 11 semesters at most, depending on the credit hours of the major, unless the offer letter says otherwise.
