P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship for Women's Graduate Study in Canada 2027/2028

Applications open Partially funded?

About this scholarship

A need-based grant for women from outside the US and Canada who are doing a master's or doctorate at a Canadian university in 2027/2028. The most it pays is 12,500 dollars for 12 months.

Funding type

Covers: up to 12,500 dollars for 12 months of study, set by need. Smaller amounts can be given. The money is for tuition, school costs and living costs while you study full time in Canada. It is not meant to cover all costs, and you must show other income for the rest. Students at Canadian universities are paid in Canadian dollars. The pages do not say whether the 12,500 limit is in US or Canadian dollars for study in Canada. Paid in two parts: the first after your enrolment is confirmed, the second in December. Does not cover: travel to or from Canada or abroad, travel to conferences, or past debts. Local transport is allowed. One renewal can be requested for a second year, and the amount is not guaranteed at the same level.
