About this scholarship

Need-based grants for new undergraduate students at NYU Abu Dhabi, open to all nationalities. The grant is worked out from the CSS Profile and comes with the admission decision.

Funding type

Covers: a university grant based on your family's need, as calculated by the aid office from the CSS Profile. The amount differs from student to student. The grant is taken off the charges you pay the university: tuition, housing, food, health insurance and books. Some offers also include travel support to campus, as stated in the award letter. Estimated cost for 2026/2027: tuition USD 68,574, and a full cost of about USD 90,434 a year. The grant is normally renewed at the same level each year if you meet the renewal rules. NYUAD does not reassess need later. Any outside scholarship is taken into account when NYUAD sets your grant, and the total cannot be more than the full cost.
