IELTS Academic 6.5, TOEFL iBT 90 or 4.5, PTE Academic 60, Cambridge C1 Advanced 180 or C2 Proficiency 200, or Duolingo 120. The test must be taken at an approved test centre, and home editions are not accepted. Duolingo is accepted only when other tests are hard to reach. You are exempt if you finished the last three years of secondary school in an English curriculum at a recognised school in a country on the page's list, among them the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and Ireland. English results are valid for two years.

University admission details

Admission included in application?

The application portal opened on 7 September 2026. Early Action closes on 1 November 2026 at 5 pm Gulf time, with results on 15 January 2027. Regular Decision closes on 1 February 2027 at 5 pm Gulf time, with results on 1 April 2027. Only one application per cycle is accepted. After applying you get an invitation within 10 days to book an online screening exam. It is waived only with set SAT or ACT scores or an international Olympiad medal. The application fee is AED 200, paid after the screening exam, and the FAQ lists cases for a waiver. Shortlisted applicants are invited to an online interview with faculty members. It is mandatory. The Fall 2027 semester starts in mid-August 2027. The pages do not describe how to request a scholarship. Ask Student Recruitment before you apply.
