About this scholarship

Financial aid for master's students at the Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland, for the September 2027 intake. You request it inside the admission application, and only in the January round. It is given on financial need and academic merit.

Funding type

Covers: a living scholarship of up to CHF 20,000 for two years, and/or a reduction of tuition. The committee decides whether the scholarship is full or smaller. Tuition for students living outside Switzerland is CHF 8,000 a year. The scholarship is paid monthly, and you must live in Switzerland or neighbouring France to receive it. If your income from work is above CHF 32,000 in an academic year, the aid may be reduced. About 10 to 15 percent of new students receive aid. Aid is renewed for the second year by a new request in April and May. The Institute estimates living costs in Geneva at CHF 1,400 to 2,500 or more a month.
