LIVE is a master's in vaccinology taught in Barcelona, Antwerp, Lyon and Saint-Etienne, with EU scholarships, for graduates in biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and medicine. You can start in the first year for two years, or enter the second year directly for one year.
There are two types of EU scholarship. Full scholarship: covers the institutional costs of EUR 9,000 a year and pays EUR 1,400 a month, for up to 24 months from the first year or 12 months from the second year. The monthly amount is meant for visa, installation, housing, travel and living costs. The second type pays the institutional costs only, and you cover your living costs. The programme puts the total budget for this seat at about EUR 32,000 for two years. The institutional costs include tuition at the host universities and full health and accident insurance for the whole programme. For 2024 to 2030 the EU funds 120 LIVE students: 80 with full scholarships and 40 with institutional costs only.
