About this scholarship

An EU scholarship for a two-year joint master's in migration studies, starting in Oldenburg, Germany, in September 2027, then Stavanger in Norway, then a semester and internship with a partner in Europe, Africa or Asia. Very few scholarships are available.

Funding type

Covers: the full tuition fees, a monthly allowance of EUR 1,400 for 24 months, health insurance, and the university registration and student service fees. Mobility costs on the programme path, such as travel, visas, vaccinations and residence permits, are paid from the monthly allowance. The Costs and Funding page says there is no separate travel or installation payment, although the FAQ mentions travel and installation support. The participation costs of EUR 4,500 per semester are paid by students in fee-paying places. There are also non-fee paying places awarded on merit, which do not include living costs. They need EUR 11,208 in a blocked account for the first year when you apply for the German visa.
