About this scholarship

Scholarships from the Danish government for outstanding master's students from outside the EU and the EEA at the University of Copenhagen. You do not apply for it separately, because every eligible admitted applicant is considered automatically. The number is limited.

Funding type

Covers, depending on the case: all or part of the tuition fee, and/or an amount for basic living expenses. Faculty of Science: tuition and living expenses for 22 months. Faculty of Social Sciences: usually 2 to 3 a year, given for the September intake only. Faculty of Theology: fewer than 4 a year, a waiver of part of the fee only. Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences: either tuition and living costs together, or tuition only. Faculty of Humanities: applications are considered automatically with no extra documents. The living amounts are not published, they are taxed under Danish law, and some nationalities may be exempt from the tax. In Theology the decision usually comes after admission and after the fee is charged, so do not rely on the waiver when you decide whether to accept the place.
