A scholarship that covers tuition and a monthly stipend for doctoral students at Central European University in Vienna. Everyone who applies by the deadline and asks for financial aid is considered automatically.
Covers: full tuition and a stipend of EUR 2,002 gross a month for 48 months in total. The financial aid page gives the amount without a year, so check it in your offer. Does not cover: health insurance and social security payments, which the student pays to the Austrian SVS. The stipend is taxable in Austria and counts as self-employed income. The stipend is paid only after you arrive in Vienna, and it is not paid back-dated. The registration fee after you accept the offer is EUR 500. It is not refundable and counts as part of the enrollment fee. The fees page also lists an enrollment fee and an Austrian Student Union fee, and the aid page does not say they are covered.
